Hyderabad: AICC State In-charge Meenakshi Natarajan paid a courtesy visit to CM Revanth Reddy on Wednesday morning. The AICC In-charge, who came to his residence in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, was warmly welcomed by the Chief Minister, who presented her with a bouquet of flowers. He then honored her by draping a shawl and presented a spinning wheel and a plant as gifts. At that time, Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka, Minister Uttam Kumar, and TPCC Chief Mahesh Kumar Goud were also present. Following this, it is reported that a review was conducted regarding party activities, the reasons behind the party's loss in the Teachers and Graduates MLC elections, and other related matters. Additionally, discussions were held on the upcoming MLC elections under the MLA quota and the selection of candidates.

During a meeting that lasted over an hour, discussions mainly focused on the procedures that should be followed in selecting MLC candidates. Since there is intense competition for MLC positions, the conversation centered on how to avoid difficulties for the party while finalizing the candidates. Meenakshi Natarajan had also conducted a review with the leaders of the Medak and Malkajgiri Lok Sabha constituencies yesterday, and it is believed that feedback on this review was discussed with the CM. Reports indicate that the party is considering offering MLC positions only to those who have been loyal to the Congress party. With a large number of applications pouring in from the PCC, this meeting has gained significant attention. Moreover, a Cabinet meeting is scheduled for tomorrow. Afterward, it is believed that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will travel to Delhi once again to discuss Cabinet decisions and the selection of MLC candidates with the leadership.
