New passport rules to be implemented from March

According to the provisions of Section 24..
The Ministry of External Affairs issued an official notification to this effect on February 24. It is reported that the passport rules have been amended as per the provisions of Section 24 of the Passport Act, 1967. The rules for getting a passport in India have been amended. Birth certificate is mandatory for those born after 1 October 2023 while applying for a passport, the central government has issued an order to this effect.

India's passport, ranked 80th,
is now recognized globally, with Indians holding key positions in many countries, including the United States. Currently,The Indian passport is ranked 80th in the world.India has now made some amendments to the passport rules. An official notification has also been issued in this regard.
Birth certificate is mandatory
Where to get a birth certificate? A birth certificate issued by a municipality or a birth and death registration act, 1969, will be taken into account. Most of those born after October 1, 2023, have a birth certificate. To get a passport, you will need to get a letter from the municipal birth or death registration authorities.
