Tesla mass entry.. Huge showroom in Mumbai!

However, in the first phase, it will open a grand showroom in the Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai . This area is a prime location for commercial spaces. Also, the rent for the spaces here is also huge. It is reported that Tesla will lease 4,000 square feet of space on the ground floor of a commercial building in the Bandra Kurla Complex. This is where Tesla is going to showcase its car models. The monthly rent for this is about Rs.900 per square foot. That is, about Rs.35 lakh per month. This deal is for 5 years. Tesla is also looking to open a second showroom in the Aerocity Complex in Delhi.

During his visit to the US, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Tesla CEO Elon Musk . The new deal was finalized a few weeks after the meeting. It also released a job offer list to work at Tesla. This has led to various confusions regarding the bilateral trade agreement between India and the US. A reciprocal tax system is a tax system that applies to any country that does business with the US. The US also carries out the tax process in accordance with the taxes imposed by those countries.

This has created some confusion about Tesla's entry into India. Following this trend, preparations are now underway to open a showroom in India. Tesla has been eyeing the Indian market for many years. The company initially planned to enter India in 2022. But that plan was put on hold for some reasons. The Indian government imposes taxes of up to 110 percent on imported vehicles. He said that this is a matter of concern and that Tesla is being forced to set up a car manufacturing plant in India due to high taxes.

Difficulties with high taxes in India !
In an interview, Tesla CEO said that India has high taxes, and various countries around the world are taking advantage of them through taxes, and it is impossible to sell Tesla cars in India due to high taxes. Tesla vehicles in India are expected to be sold from Rs. 21 lakh. However, the price will be premium in the country's electric vehicle market. Tesla Cybertruck price is Rs. 50.70 lakh, Tesla Model 2 price is Rs. 45 lakh, Tesla Model 3 price is Rs. 60 lakh, Tesla Model Y price is Rs. 70 lakh, Tesla Model S price is Rs. 1.50 crore, Tesla Model X price is Rs. 2 crore. For those planning to buy a car in India, it would be beneficial if the Indian government announced incentives to encourage people to use electric vehicles.
